Change is in the Air...

Branding is an extremely difficult exercise in figuring out what what you stand for as a company and to boil it all down into a simple yet meaningful symbol that hopefully represents — or will come to represent — it all.

Initially, we thought of mountains, oceans, the sea-to-sky way of life. But as Vancouverites, we're actually more than that. In fact, I'd say Vancouver is in the beginning stages of a deep change that will determine how we move forward as a city, a province, as a country. That's really what we wanted to capture: a sense of hope for the future, based on the foundational things that have given us so much. Which, if you've had a chance to talk with us, is the basis of the design of our timepieces. Vintage with a touch of the 21st century.

We hope you love our new logo as much as we do. It represents so much of what we hope to achieve in the coming days, months and years. And we hope that you'll grow with us — we'd love for you to come along.

BIG NEWS!

We're holding our first ever Pop-Up Store! Here are the details

DATE: July 05, 2018, 5:30pm - 8:00pm
WHERE: Emil Clothing Co. (100 - 1062 Homer Street)

Shanah at EMIL CLOTHING CO. was kind enough to allow us to have a one-day event in her beautiful store. Seriously check them out... it's beautifully realized and they have some amazing clothes for men.

Keith Trusler, Brand Ambassador for The Glenlivet will be providing some amazing drinks and throwing down some education if you want to know what to look for in a great whiskey.

Providing some lovely, light refreshments will be Clement Lau of Maison Clement.

You can register for the event here (Eventbrite) but actually, you don't even have to register. Just come by and introduce yourself!

Frankly, we're super excited to be putting on our first event and with our generous and wonderful partners on board, we can't wait to see how it goes!

Vancity Weekly & Sixofour Life

A while back we sat down with Adam Graham, a local realtor and podcaster who loves to shine a light on everything that is "Vancouver", and had a great conversation about what our company means to us and why we started it. If you want to get a little insight into the how's and why's of your favourite watch company, Head on over to Adam's podcast channel and give us a listen!

Kibble Watches Review

Anytime we get a chance for a review, we always suffer a little anxiety... like sending out your kid into the world for the first time. Nerve racking but you know that it must be done.

When James at Kibble Watches approached us for a review, we knew that our watch would be in the hands of someone who is passionate about timepieces and would also provide some honest feedback about what works and what doesn't. We love and truly appreciate his honesty... you can't ask for more actually.

With that said, here's his review. Enthusiastic yet honest, balanced and fair. Thanks James!!

The Champ's Watch

With all of the craziness surrounding UFC223 this past weekend, it was great to see how a real champ behaves. Max Holloway, with his steady courage, volunteered to replace the injured Tony Ferguson to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov in a full weight class above his current one, Featherweight, with only six days notice. Unfortunately, his doctors would not give consent nor permission for Max to fight so he was taken off the card.

But from this event forward, no one could question Max's heart, courage and bravery. So it's in this light that the guys over at Two Broke Watch Snobs took the opportunity to review the very Limited Edition watch we created for Max last year.

Check out their review and get your hands on this very special, very limited edition timepiece!
